Aerial Service
Problems with your channels breaking up or loss of signal issues? Not every issue means you have a faulty aerial. As part of the service I offer the following.
- Full system check to diagnose the location of the fault.
- If requested, a free quote for the work needed to resolve the issue.
- Parts replaced or repaired as quoted.
Work and equipment guaranteed for 1 year
Note that whoever you choose to fit an aerial, in this area you should be expected to pay somewhere around £75 - £150 for a standard install on a house / bungalow down to one tv point or wired into an existing system.
If you are quoted £200 - £300+ unless you don't mind paying that much, i would always advise shopping around for an actual locally based company and not a national one with a local branch.
HDD and Memory Upgrades
Upgrading your old mechanical HDD to a new Digital drive and maybe adding a bit more memory could speed up your laptop substantially (See the video for a rough bootup comparison of a recent upgrade). How is it done?
1. Your old drive will be cloned (Creating an exact copy) onto the new digital drive.
2. The old drive will be removed from the laptop and the new drive will be put in its place.
3. Your old drive can be kept as a backup or can be wiped and used as extra storage either inside the laptop if there is space for it or in an external USB caddy.
